Once you reach Bentota, attractions to look out include: Bentota River safari The Bentota River is the third largest river in the country and you can explore this river by going on a river cruise. A river excursion will take you through the island’s dense mangroves, where crocodiles, water monitors, and other reptiles swim through the waters of the Bentota River. Bentota beach Golden sandy beaches and warm waters make up the Bentota beach, which is ideal for those who wish to spend the day simply relaxing on the beach. Water sports are a common activity in Bentota, where guests can try out various sports including jet skis, banana boats, kite surfing, water skiing and much more. Brief Garden The Brief Garden is located around 10 km from the main city and was once owned by the famous landscape architect Bevis Bawa.
